This Tet Giap Thin, striker Vu Thi Hoa happily shared 2 photos, the first was when she was sitting in the kitchen cooking banh chung and banh tet, and on the first day of Tet, she took a photo with her mother Dao Thi Ngu and the children.
To celebrate the New Year, Vu Thi Hoa's family and neighbors contributed to cooking 3 pots of cakes, including Chung cake to display on the altar and Tet cake to cut onto plates to burn incense.
It was a simple but cozy Tet, when the young female striker could forget all the pressure of her football career to feel the boundless love of her family from her mother, family, and neighbors.
A few years ago, when she was only 15 years old, Vu Thi Hoa had to put aside her innocent teenage years to shoulder the responsibility of being the breadwinner of the family when her father died early in a work accident.
Little by little, the young girl born in 2003 saves money to send home to help her mother take care of the family and her siblings' education. This year, Tet is a little more "generous" thanks to the bonus from the 2023 World Cup.
The striker of Hanoi FC shared: "This year, I was happiest when my mother gave me lucky money, and I was very happy when I helped everyone cook banh chung and banh tet. As for me, I bought Tet items for my mother and bought Tet clothes for my siblings.
My mother is 47 years old this year and I am very happy that she is still healthy. My siblings are still going to school, the youngest is in 3rd grade, the next in 4th grade and the youngest is in 10th grade. I contribute to their tuition fees, I will help my mother as much as I can."
One can clearly feel the happiness of Vu Thi Hoa, a smart and sharp girl on the field but simple, shy in real life and very responsible in the role of the eldest sister of the family.
At the age of 20, a promising football career is opening up before Vu Thi Hoa - who is expected to be the "successor of Huynh Nhu". On that journey, her family will continue to be the motivation for this girl with a radiant smile to be stronger and show more in the colors of Hanoi Women's Club as well as the Vietnam Women's National Team.
