(Dan Tri) - On the occasion of the new spring, the International Football Federation (FIFA) sent its best wishes to Vietnamese football. Notably, famous players Xuan Son, Tien Linh, Huynh Nhu, Thuy Trang were included in FIFA's poems.
On the official fanpage of FIFA, the World Football Federation sent New Year wishes to Vietnamese football: "Seagulls fly all over the sky and earth, Royal music echoes with thousands of songs, The country's football is steadfast, The brilliant history makes the New Year more joyful, Like the new sunlight on the doorstep, The sacred Fatherland welcomes the coming spring".
"Welcome to the Year of the Snake 2025, Vietnam!", FIFA's official fanpage added, on the first days of the traditional Vietnamese New Year.

In the above verses, we can somewhat guess that "Son" here is Nguyen Xuan Son, "Nha" is Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha, "Nhu" is Huynh Nhu, "Trang" is Tran Thi Thuy Trang, "Linh" is Nguyen Tien Linh, and "Hai" is one of the two players Nguyen Quang Hai or Pham Tuan Hai.
The top stars of Vietnamese football, both male and female, were mentioned by FIFA in their wishes. They are all the ones who made the most brilliant achievements of Vietnamese football in the past year.
Xuan Son, Tien Linh, Quang Hai (or Tuan Hai) are the ones who contributed greatly to winning the AFF Cup 2024. Thuy Trang won the 2024 Southeast Asian women's futsal championship, setting a record as the first player in Southeast Asia to win the regional football championship, in both 11-a-side football and indoor football (futsal).
Huynh Nhu made a great contribution to help Ho Chi Minh City Women's Football Club reach the quarter-finals of the 2024-2025 AFC Women's Club Championship. This is the first time a Vietnamese women's football team, at the club level, has achieved this. Meanwhile, Thanh Nha is currently a girl of interest in Vietnamese football.
Not only the wishes, FIFA's fanpage also posted caricatures of Xuan Son, Tien Linh, Huynh Nhu and the players mentioned in the poems, wearing traditional Vietnamese ao dai, true to the nature of the new spring days.
