Similarly, on the same afternoon, Vietnam Airlines (VNA) also announced the free receipt and transportation of relief goods from agencies, unions, organizations, and businesses on flights operated by Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, Vasco).

Specifically, from September 10, relief goods will be exempted from transportation fees, fuel surcharges and related fees by Vietnam Airlines Group, and will be given priority loading on flights of airlines from airports across the country to Noi Bai (Hanoi), Cat Bi (Hai Phong), Vinh (Nghe An), Tho Xuan (Thanh Hoa), Van Don (Quang Ninh), Dien Bien airports.

“Organizations and individuals wishing to transport goods to support storm and flood relief efforts to the northern provinces during this time can contact agencies, organizations, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, People's Committees of provinces and cities, and the Vietnam Red Cross at all levels to receive free shipping,” said a VNA representative.

Also with the desire to join hands to share with the people, Bamboo Airways officially accepts to transport free relief goods for the people in the North from September 11 to 26.

Accordingly, essential goods (including necessities and essential items) to support people in flood-affected areas will be reserved and given priority for free transportation on Bamboo Airways flights as soon as possible.

This policy is applied on all Bamboo Airways flights departing from Ho Chi Minh City/Da Nang/Cam Ranh/Quy Nhon/Da Lat to Hanoi.

Bamboo Airways representative said that in order to transport relief goods quickly and smoothly, the goods need to be packaged in packages with sturdy packaging. Each package must not exceed 40kg and each shipment must not exceed 500kg. Each flight will carry a maximum of 500kg of aid goods.
