Hanoi operates synchronous software to manage and resolve voters' petitions

Kinhtedothi - On the morning of December 12, at the 20th Session, the Hanoi People's Council passed a Resolution on handling voters' petitions from the beginning of 2024 to present.

The resolution clearly stated that the Hanoi People's Council requested the City People's Committee to strengthen leadership and direction to seriously and fully implement the conclusions and recommendations stated in the monitoring results report of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council in the direction of clarifying responsibilities and a clear roadmap for resolution, while focusing on implementing tasks and solutions.

Check and review all remaining voters' petitions that have not been resolved or whose responses and resolutions are unclear; the contents of the announcement of the conclusion of the explanation session of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council on the settlement of voters' petitions from the beginning of the 2021-2026 term to present in Hanoi; evaluate and classify specific settlement results.

For the contents and recommendations that are eligible for resolution but have not been completed or have unclear progress, it is necessary to focus on directing, assigning specific responsibilities, and clearly defining the resolution roadmap for the city's departments, branches and People's Committees of districts, towns to implement thoroughly; for the contents of incomplete responses or problems, promptly supplement and guide. At the same time, regularly monitor and urge the departments, branches and units assigned to inspect the resolution and response to voters' recommendations; report to the City People's Council on the implementation results at the regular session in mid-2025.

The City People's Committee directs the city's departments and branches to improve their responsibility and quality of advice to the City People's Committee in responding to and resolving voters' petitions; coordinate well with the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to ensure that voters' petitions are considered, responded to and resolved fully and promptly.

Strengthen the leadership and inspection of the City's departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns in the implementation. At the same time, regularly coordinate with the People's Council Committees, the Delegation Groups and delegates of the City People's Council, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City to grasp the content of information and recommendations of voters.

Regularly review and update new policies to recommend and advise the City People's Council to adjust and supplement policies in accordance with legal regulations as well as practical conditions of the City.

Implement well the Regulations of the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the People's Committee of the City on considering and resolving voters' petitions sent to the People's Council of the City. At the same time, operate the management software for considering and resolving voters' petitions synchronously throughout the city to connect, monitor, urge, and promptly resolve.

Previously, the City People's Council approved the issuance of the Working Regulations of the People's Council, the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the Committees of the People's Council and the specialized Departments of the Committees of the People's Council, the People's Council Delegation and the People's Council Delegates of Hanoi City.

The Regulations aim to unify the implementation, create conditions for the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Council Committees, the Delegation Groups and the City People's Council delegates to fulfill their functions and tasks well; meet the requirements of continuing to innovate, improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the City People's Council. The promulgation of the Regulations on the basis of systematizing the legal documents related to the organization and operation of the People's Council that have been newly amended and promulgated ensures conformity with the current operational practices of the City People's Council.
