Kinhtedothi - On the morning of December 12, the 20th Session of the Hanoi People's Council unanimously voted to pass a resolution on questioning activities at the 20th Session of the 16th term People's Council, term 2021-2026; Resolution on organizing sessions in 2025 of the People's Council.
The question and answer session at the 20th session of the 16th City People's Council, term 2021-2026, questioned the following groups of issues: re-questioning the implementation of a number of contents of the resolutions and conclusions of the question and answer session of the 16th City People's Council, term 2021-2026, which have reached the deadline for resolution but implementation is still slow and ineffective.
Questioning the implementation of a number of targets and tasks in the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021-2025 of the City.
The City People's Council requests the City People's Committee, the Chairman, Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee, Directors, heads of departments, branches, Chairmen of District, Town People's Committees and related units to seriously implement solutions, commitments, overcome shortcomings and limitations, and create strong changes in State management work in the fields and issues that have been questioned and re-questioned at the session.
At the working session on the morning of December 12, the City People's Council also passed a Resolution on the plan to organize meetings of the City People's Council in 2025. Accordingly, the mid-year meeting is expected to be held in July 2025; the year-end meeting is expected to be held in December 2025.
Based on the regulations and practical situation of the City, the Standing Committee of the City People's Council will decide to convene thematic meetings of the City People's Council.
The City People's Council also passed a Resolution to dismiss Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, member of the Party Central Committee, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, delegate of the Hanoi People's Council, term XVI, term 2021-2026, from her duties as a delegate due to being transferred to take on the duties of President of the Vietnam Women's Union, term 2022-2027.
Approving the Resolution to dismiss the duties of the Hanoi People's Council delegate, term XVI, 2021-2026, with Mr. Nguyen Quang Duc, former member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, former Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, delegate of the Hanoi People's Council, term XVI, 2021-2026, ceasing to perform the duties of delegate due to being transferred to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission.
