TPO - Hundreds of young people lined up in front of Le Do cinema to wait to buy tickets to see the movie "Peach, Pho and Piano" after the news that this movie was being shown to Da Nang audiences.

"Although the film is very popular online, I did not expect it to be shown in Da Nang. Knowing the information, I immediately bought tickets to support Vietnamese films, especially films about historical themes like this. Do Thi Bich Diem (a student at Dai Viet College) had been in line since 7am and was finally able to enter the ticket counter at around 9:30am. She also bought 4 tickets and planned to invite her family to go to the movies this weekend.

"Although queuing is quite tiring, this is also a way for young people to support Vietnamese historical films. In recent days, on Facebook and TikTok, Dao, Pho and Piano have been very popular but have not been widely shown. I feel very lucky that the film is being shown in Da Nang," said Diem.

According to Mr. Vuong Chi Thanh, Head of the Cinema Department (Cultural Center - Cinema of Da Nang City), although the unit had prepared, it was still very surprised when a large number of audiences, especially young audiences, lined up to buy movie tickets. This is a positive signal for a state-owned cinema like Le Do, as well as for Vietnamese cinema.

"Although I knew the film would create a fever on social networks, I did not expect the audience to support it so much. It has been a long time since there was a scene of audiences jostling to buy movie tickets at Le Do theater, like the golden age of state-owned theaters. We also fully prepared for ticket sales to go smoothly, so that people in need can enjoy the film to support domestic cinema," said Mr. Thanh.

The movie "Peach, Pho and Piano" will be shown at Le Do Cinema from February 25 and will last for 28 days to serve the audience. Initially, there will be 3 screenings per day, with tickets priced at 50,000 VND. Tickets will be sold directly at the theater from 9am to 9pm every day, each audience member can buy 4 tickets at a time.
