According to the report of the Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection of Gia Lai province, there are currently about 7,500 hectares of pepper in the province with an average yield of about 3.5 tons/ha. World pepper price today
Update on world pepper prices from the International Pepper Community (IPC) at 4:30 a.m. on February 21, 2025 as follows: the pepper market fluctuated downward, in which pepper prices in Indonesia decreased relatively, the decrease was from 31 - 43 USD/ton, the markets of other countries were stable and anchored at a high level.
Specifically, IPC listed the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper at 7,267 USD/ton (down 31 USD/ton); Muntok white pepper is currently purchased at 10,100 USD/ton (down 43 USD/ton) compared to the previous trading session.
The Malaysian pepper market continues to remain stable and is anchored at a high level. Currently, the price of Malaysian ASTA black pepper is purchased at 9,000 USD/ton and the price of ASTA white pepper is at 11,600 USD/ton.
Pepper prices in Brazil remained stable compared to the previous increase, currently purchasing at 6,800 USD/ton.
The export market for Vietnamese pepper continues to be stable and slightly decreasing. Specifically, the export price of Vietnamese black pepper is currently at 6,500 USD/ton for 500 g/l; 550 g/l is at 6,650 USD/ton; the price of white pepper is at 9,550 USD/ton.
