It is known that Apple's internal chips have always had extremely fast CPU performance and have beaten competitors from MediaTek, Qualcomm and Samsung. However, in the past few years, Qualcomm has made many efforts but has not been able to surpass Apple in CPU performance, but in GPU performance, Apple has been surpassed.

In late 2024, Qualcomm released its first smartphone chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which uses the Nuvia CPU architecture. This marked a generational leap in CPU performance, especially in single-core tasks. It helped Android phones like the OnePlus 13 and Galaxy S25 Ultra beat Apple's top-end iPhone in performance.
