On June 22, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Thap province Phan Van Thang said: The total value of ornamental flower production in Sa Dec city is estimated at 3,000 billion VND per year. Total state budget revenue in the period of 2021 - 2023 reached more than 1,500 billion VND, an average increase of 4.71%/year; average income per capita in 2023 is estimated to reach more than 68 million VND/person/year, an increase of 1.18 times compared to 2020.
Total development investment capital from 2021 - 2023 is more than 10,800 billion VND, an increase of over 112% compared to the period 2018 - 2020 and reaching over 60% of the 18,000 billion VND target set for the entire term.
In particular, the city has developed many types of agricultural tourism for sightseeing and experience. Notably, in the period from 2021 to 2023, the number of visitors to the city is about 1.1 million.
In addition to appreciating the achieved results, Mr. Phan Van Thang requested the Sa Dec City Party Committee to continue to closely follow the Resolution of the province and the city to effectively implement 5 strategic breakthroughs: correctly identifying potentials and strengths to focus on developing the transport infrastructure to promote urban development; improving the quality of human resources, especially the city's staff; strengthening cooperation, developing urban agriculture in a modern direction, developing enterprises and promoting startups.
