Mr. Hoan is the youngest in a large family. When he was young, his family was poor and he did not study much. Thanks to his diligence, he became well-off. Previously, on an area of more than 1 hectare, he grew watercress. Around 2019, he switched to growing fish mint. Currently, every day, he harvests more than 150kg of vegetables, earning more than 2 million VND. In addition to his housework, he also creates stable jobs for several local workers.
Taking advantage of vacant land, Mr. Hoan grows ornamental plants and construction trees; connects people with the same passion, learns, and exchanges techniques and markets. He participates in the 4-in-1 Ornamental Plants Professional Farmers Association of Phuoc Hung 2 Hamlet.

In 2015, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Hoan was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister for his achievements in labor and production in the province, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
Mr. Hoan was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for his outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of Good Farmers in Production and Business, period 2017-2022.
Mr. Hoan actively studies and follows Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style. Mr. Hoan donates money to give gifts to poor households and other social security activities.
10 years ago, seeing students having difficulty going to school and people having difficulty transporting agricultural products, he donated about 500 square meters of land to widen the road. Mr. Hoan said: “I am lucky to have the conditions even though I do manual labor. Now, as long as I can help the community, I am happy, I don’t think about anything else.”
According to the Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Phuoc Lam Commune (Can Giuoc District, Long An Province) - Nguyen Nhu Thuy, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Hoan is not only a good producer but also actively supports many members and farmers to escape poverty sustainably.
