In the morning, the Provincial Party Secretary inspected the project of the road connecting Tan Son, Ninh Son district to Ta Nang, Duc Trong district (Lam Dong) and the road connecting National Highway 1A to the North-South expressway, Nhi Ha commune (Thuan Nam). At the projects, the investor, the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, reported on the situation, progress of implementation and difficulties and obstacles for the works and projects. The Tan Son-Ta Nang project has a total length of 62.5 km, with a total investment of over 1,494.7 billion VND. Currently, component project 1 - the section from Tan Son town to Ma Noi commune (Ninh Son) with a length of 22.283 km has been basically completed; component project 2 - the section from Ma Noi commune (Ninh Son) to Ta Nang intersection, Duc Trong district with a length of 40.2 km, is implementing the construction of the roadbed and related infrastructure. The project is still stuck with the construction site because 15.1 km in Ninh Thuan and 2 km in Lam Dong province have not completed the conversion of forest and forest land use purposes to other land purposes; the section in Lam Dong province has not issued a specific land price coefficient, so compensation for land clearance has not been paid to households. For the project connecting the North-South Expressway with National Highway 1 and Ca Na General Seaport (the section connecting the North-South Expressway with National Highway 1 is 10.14 km long, with an investment of 651.280 billion VND and the section from National Highway 1 to Ca Na Industrial Park is 4.66 km long, with an investment of 251.720 billion VND). However, the project is facing difficulties in capital sources, some locations are still stuck with the construction site.

Speaking at the project, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the potential and development opportunities of the roads being invested in, expecting to create favorable conditions for strong socio-economic development between localities and the production life of people in the project areas. Thereby, he requested that sectors and localities coordinate and soon complete the procedures for converting forest land; have solutions to speed up the project progress, especially in locations where land is available. In addition, localities and the Forestry sector need to strengthen forest patrols and protection; have a systematic plan to exploit and effectively use the land area on both sides of the road, promote the value of traffic works, and mobilize capital to invest in early completion of the project.
For the project connecting the North-South Expressway to National Highway 1A, which is facing difficulties in capital sources, the Provincial People's Committee needs to calculate and reasonably arrange capital sources to proactively complete the project in early 2024, in order to connect to the expressway when this project is completed and put into use, in order to complete the traffic network connecting the expressway, effectively exploit Ca Na general seaport and Ca Na industrial park, creating a driving force to promote the development of the Southern key economic region in particular and the province in general.
* In the afternoon of the same day, the Provincial Party Secretary inspected Du Long Industrial Park, visited the Aloe Vera Production Model of Canh Dong Viet Food Joint Stock Company, Bac Son Commune (Thuan Bac) and the 5-star international standard luxury resort project combined with a commercial culinary walking street (Ninh Hai).
After visiting the production area, listening to the report on the situation and progress of infrastructure investment and construction and the difficulties and obstacles in Du Long Industrial Park, the Provincial Party Secretary requested relevant sectors and localities to coordinate and support to create favorable conditions for effective investment projects, attract secondary investors, and create jobs for local people. In particular, focusing on investing in road infrastructure to the district center, to reduce pressure on National Highway 1, ensuring safety for workers, especially at rush hour. Because currently the Industrial Park has over 2,100 workers and in the coming time, the number of workers will increase. Along with that, there is coordination and creation of conditions for building social housing for workers; vocational training according to the address to meet the demand for skilled labor; supplementing industry planning, effectively attracting secondary investors to the industrial park.

Visiting the Aloe Vera Production Model of Canh Dong Viet Food Joint Stock Company (Bac Son Commune, Thuan Bac District). This is a production model implemented by Canh Dong Viet Food Joint Stock Company in collaboration with households and Son Phat Agricultural Service Cooperative, with an area of 26 hectares; including 32 poor, near-poor, and newly escaped-poverty households. The Company commits to purchasing aloe vera products after harvest at a stable price, creating a stable income of 200,000 - 250,000 VND/day, contributing to poverty reduction and sustainable development for members of the Cooperative. The Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the method and effectiveness of the model, and at the same time suggested that enterprises and cooperatives continue to promote and work with localities to expand the scale of aloe vera production area; pay attention to investing in irrigation systems and electricity production to proactively cultivate effectively. In the long term, there should be a direction to open a local aloe vera processing factory to develop OCOP products, provide guidance on growing areas, and provide geographical indications for the products. Here, the Provincial Party Secretary presented gifts to encourage businesses, cooperatives, and local farmers.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the investor to speed up the project implementation progress according to the commitment, promote investment efficiency, and create a tourism highlight in the province. At the same time, he requested local sectors to pay attention to creating conditions and supporting the settlement of investors' recommendations so that the project can be completed and put into operation in the second quarter of 2025 as planned.
