Speaking at the Program, Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation was issued, once again affirming the importance of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation as a decisive factor in the development of countries; is a prerequisite, the best opportunity for our country to develop richly and powerfully in the new era - the era of national development. Comrade expects that through the Contest "Innovation - for beloved Thai Nguyen", the participation of the business community and the majority of people in innovation will be mobilized to improve production and business efficiency as well as all aspects of social life. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Besides the leading role of the State, the participation of associations, business unions, the Cooperative Union and each member cooperative is very important.
Identifying that innovation needs to focus on the effective application of science and digital transformation to renew familiar tasks, he suggested that departments, branches and localities participate with the highest responsibility. Each industry and field needs to have specific initiatives in their industry and field to participate in the Competition, thereby arousing and spreading the spirit of innovation throughout the industry. During the implementation process, it is necessary to pay attention to projects and initiatives that are small but practical, highly applicable and of great significance; promote the leading role, find technological solutions, attract social investment sources, organize inspections, assessments and have solutions to replicate effective initiatives and models. The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Electronic Information Portal, the Provincial Radio and Television Station, and Thai Nguyen Newspaper to increase the propaganda time, establish a separate column, and have at least 1 news and article each week related to innovation, science and technology, focusing on promoting successful models that are typical and representative to create a ripple effect in the community.
Chairman of the Provincial Business Association - Mr. Nguyen Van Thoi expressed the readiness of the business community to spread and accompany the Contest.
Speaking at the launching program, Mr. Nguyen Van Thoi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association shared his experience in spreading the spirit of innovation in the TNG ecosystem; at the same time, he expressed his joy at the drastic participation of all levels and sectors under the direct leadership of the provincial leaders in implementing innovation. The Chairman of the Provincial Business Association believes that with the will and determination, especially through the "Innovation - For Beloved Thai Nguyen" Contest, the spirit of innovation will spread, creating an important driving force for Thai Nguyen to break through and develop prosperously.
At the Launching Program, a sponsorship memorandum signing ceremony took place between the Contest Organizing Committee and the Provincial Business Association.
The first "Innovation - For beloved Thai Nguyen" contest in 2025 aims to honor, encourage, motivate, and spread the spirit of innovation, small jobs - great meaning for typical organizations and individuals who have made positive contributions to innovation activities, bringing practical benefits to serve the socio-economic development of the province, contributing to building Thai Nguyen increasingly rich, civilized and developed. The contest is applicable to organizations and individuals who have created and applied achievements, technical solutions, technologies, and management solutions to improve the efficiency of socio-economic development, improve productivity, quality, and added value of products and goods, which have been deployed and effectively applied in practice, contributing to the socio-economic development of Thai Nguyen province. All innovation projects in the fields of production, business and social life in Thai Nguyen province can register to participate in the contest. The project must clearly demonstrate innovation, have specific socio-economic efficiency and be applied effectively in the province.
