On September 8, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province said it had assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to work specifically with Nam Long Technology Investment Group Joint Stock Company (NLT Group) on the proposal to implement the water music project at Xuan Huong Lake; report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee before September 22.
NLT Group wants to use the land at Thuy Ta restaurant for free to operate a food service to recover the investment capital for water music.
Previously, NLT Group (HCMC) sent a document to the People's Committee of Lam Dong province proposing an investment policy for an artistic water music project to create a highlight for socio-economic development, attract tourists, create entertainment venues, and ensure social security for Lam Dong province.
NLT Group proposed to implement on Xuan Huong Lake, near Thuy Ta restaurant or near Bich Cau oasis. This modern artistic water music system is about 60m x 25m in size; in addition, there are also some artistic water music columns to create highlights around Xuan Huong Lake. NLT Group is responsible for maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment within 10 years. The total investment is about more than 39.9 billion VND.
However, it is worth noting that NLT Group also proposed a plan to recover investment costs by asking Lam Dong province to provide free support for investors to install 2 LED screens (5m x 4m) in the Xuan Huong Lake area to collect advertising fees within 10 years.
At the same time, it is proposed that the province support free use of the "golden land" at Thuy Ta restaurant or Bich Cau oasis for 10 years to organize a night economic service area (culinary service) to enjoy artistic water music.

As Thanh Nien reported, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has reclaimed Bich Cau oasis from the Provincial Ornamental Plants Association and handed it over to Da Lat City People's Committee for management, and it is currently being used as a park. Meanwhile, Thuy Ta restaurant has also been scheduled to auction off its house and land for lease for 10 years at a price of more than 3 billion VND/year (paying once for all 10 years).
NLT Group expects that the water music project, when put into operation, will increase the number of tourists to Da Lat by 10% (0.7 million), increasing revenue from tourism and accommodation to more than a thousand billion VND.
