Novak Djokovic completed his trophy collection by defeating Alcaraz in the final and winning the men's singles tennis gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics on the evening of August 4. This championship has great spiritual significance for Nole, but the results in France do not count towards ATP rankings. The 2024 ATP Masters 1000 Canadian Open is taking place in Canada from August 3 to August 12. According to the ATP rankings announced on August 5, Sinner leads with 9,570 points, followed by Djokovic (8,460 points) and Alcaraz (8,130 points). In a press conference on August 5, Djokovic unexpectedly shared about the possibility of participating in the 2028 Olympics in the US: "I still want to play in Los Angeles.
