Proposal to build rainwater drainage and wastewater treatment infrastructure systems in 3 localities

(BD) - Implementing Notice No. 59/TB-VPCP of the Government Office on the Conclusion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on the policy of borrowing from official development assistance (ODA) capital to upgrade urban infrastructure in the province, the Provincial People's Committee has reported to the central ministries and branches on the project proposal to build a technical infrastructure system for rainwater drainage, collection and treatment of wastewater in An Nhon Town, Hoai Nhon Town and Tay Son District.

Accordingly, the project has 3 component projects. Component project 1 is implemented in An Nhon town with the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Nhon An commune, with a capacity of 12,000 ^m3 /day and night to collect and treat wastewater in the following wards and communes: Binh Dinh, Nhon Hoa, Nhon Hung, Nhon An, Nhon Phong, Dap Da, Nhon Thanh, Nhon Hau; construction and renovation of rainwater drainage infrastructure in existing urban areas.

Component project 2 is implemented in Hoai Nhon town, including: Construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Bong Son ward, capacity of ^5,000m3 /day.night to treat wastewater for Bong Son ward and neighboring areas, construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Hoai Chau Bac commune, capacity of 3,500m3 ^/ day.night to treat wastewater for Tam Quan ward, Tam Quan Bac ward and neighboring areas; construction of new, combined with renovation and utilization of existing drainage lines to ensure drainage in existing urban areas.

Component project 3 implements the construction of a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 7,200m3 ^/ day and night in Tay Xuan commune (Tay Son district) to treat wastewater for the areas of communes and towns: Binh Tuong, Phu Phong, Tay Phu, Tay Xuan, Binh Nghi.

The total expected investment of the project is over VND 3,263 billion, including ODA capital/preferential loan capital of VND 2,370 billion; counterpart capital of the province, district and town is over VND 893 billion.

Project implementation time is expected from 2025 - 2030.

The project investment aims to improve environmental sanitation conditions through investment in the construction of technical infrastructure systems to drain rainwater, collect and treat wastewater to standards, contributing to the completion and development of infrastructure, creating urban landscapes, to meet the development needs of An Nhon, Hoai Nhon, Tay Son urban areas by 2030, with a vision to 2035...
