On April 5, Chau Duc District People's Committee said that the locality has just sent a document to specialized departments and People's Committees of communes and towns about the policy of planting flowers on 50% of residential roads in the district.

Accordingly, the district leaders requested the People's Committees of communes and towns to review and count all roads and public areas under their management. It is proposed that 50% of residential roads be newly planted with flowers, trees and lawns. Types of flowers planted on roads and public areas include: Royal poinciana, bougainvillea, five-color flowers, lawns, etc.
Plant trees in public areas such as: Community Cultural and Learning Centers, village headquarters, parks, roads, ensuring the ratio of public green space to 4m2/person or more.
