The above repaired and reinforced road section (from Ngu Phuc commune roundabout to Kim Dinh commune) is about 3 km long, invested by the Department of Transport of Hai Duong province.

Road 17B will be repaired for damaged roadbed and surface, and the old roadside will be reinforced to ensure smoothness and limit the volume of uneven road surface. Faded areas will be repainted and replaced, and a traffic sign system will be added along the entire National Highway 17B through Kim Thanh District. Traffic safety will be enhanced at the school gate area by painting road markings and limiting speed.

According to the Economic Infrastructure Department of Kim Thanh district, of the nearly 10 km of National Highway 17B running through the district, the section from km17+900 - km20+500 (Ngu Phuc roundabout to Kim Dinh commune) is currently experiencing the greatest level of damage and degradation. This section of road is currently small, narrow, degraded, and has an old road surface. In the past, Kim Thanh district and local people through which National Highway 17B passes have repeatedly petitioned the province to upgrade and repair National Highway 17B to overcome limitations and shortcomings, creating convenience for people and vehicles participating in traffic.

It is expected that in the second quarter of 2025, the above road section will be repaired.
