Mr. Ngo Duc Nguyen (Thach Kim fish grilling village) said: "My family has a long tradition of fish grilling. We grill fish all year round, the busiest time is before and after Tet, we can grill 250-300kg of fish every day. Having been involved in the fish grilling profession for decades, Ms. Tran Thi Luong (residing in Thach Kim commune) said: “This job is quite busy and hard, requiring waking up early and often being exposed to the heat of the fire, being covered in charcoal smoke, and smelling of grilled fish, especially in the summer, so it requires perseverance, hard work and passion for the job. The fish grilling profession of the people in Thach Kim commune makes a very important contribution to seafood processing, bringing seafood to the market in and outside the province.
