Special art program "Welcome New Year"

On the evening of December 31, at Lam Son Square, Thanh Hoa City organized the art program "Welcome New Year - 2025". Attending the program were representatives of leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and branches; leaders of Thanh Hoa City, Dong Son District, and a large number of people.

In the joyful atmosphere welcoming the new year 2025, delegates and the city's people looked back at the impressive achievements in 2024 that the Party Committee, government and people of the city have achieved.

2024 is a very meaningful year for the Party Committee, government and people of the city. This is not only a breakthrough year in implementing the goals set out in the Resolution of the 21st City Party Congress, term 2020-2025, but also a year marking an important milestone in the 220-year journey of provincial urbanization (1804-2024), 30 years of city establishment (1994-2024) and 10 years of class I urbanization (2014-2024).

Through the ups and downs of history, along with the development of the province and the country, Thanh Hoa City has constantly strived to become a rich, beautiful, civilized and modern city. With many outstanding achievements, the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Hoa City were honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal from the President.

To create a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the entire Party Committee and People of the city, and at the same time encourage and motivate all classes of people to promote patriotic emulation movements, actively study and work in production, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of socio-economic development in 2025, at the art program "Welcome New Year - 2025", delegates and a large number of people were immersed in the vibrant atmosphere and enjoyed many unique and impressive performances.

The opening of the art program was the song "Thanh Hoa City towards the future" performed by the Flame group, the Color group, students of the Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Pha Le Dance Group, bringing the audience many special emotions before the new year 2025. Next were the songs "Hello Vietnam", "A round of Vietnam" resounding with pride and joyful songs about a bustling, emotional spring such as "Hello new spring", "Oh, happy spring", "Spring confession", "Sunshine still spring", "How beautiful is spring", the medley "Spring spring - Listen to spring return", "A peaceful new year"...

Closing the art program, the city leaders, Dong Son district leaders, delegates and a large number of people together counted down to welcome the new year 2025 to the music of the song "Happy New Year" and a colorful fireworks display.

The new year 2025 has arrived. At this important moment, Dong Son district officially merged into Thanh Hoa city, opening an extremely important historical milestone after 220 years of construction and development of Thanh Hoa city.

With new opportunities, new momentum and the solidarity and joint efforts of the Party Committee, government and people, Thanh Hoa City will continue to accelerate and make strong breakthroughs with the whole province and the whole country entering a new era - the era of striving to become a rich and prosperous nation.
