2014 marked a strong turning point for the development of Long Son Company Limited when the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province decided to grant an investment certificate for the Long Son Cement Factory project in Dong Son ward (Bim Son town). With determination and "lightning-fast" construction speed, on November 1, 2016, the first batches of Long Son cement products were released to the market. Continuing the development momentum, lines 2, 3 and 4 of the factory were invested and put into operation, contributing to making Bim Son become the cement production center of Vietnam. With 4 modern, synchronous lines with a total capacity of more than 10.5 million tons/year, Long Son Cement Factory is one of the factories with the most advanced cement production technology with most of the equipment installed for the factory being directly imported from the Federal Republic of Germany, Switzerland combined with advanced production technology from Japan and raw materials supplied from the Bim Son rocky mountain region (the raw material area is considered the best in Vietnam for building and developing the cement production industry) to produce high quality cement products according to international standards. With product quality, Long Son Cement has built trust with customers, affirming its brand on every project. The factory's products are not only present in all provinces and cities in the country but also exported to countries: Singapore, Philippines, Taiwan, Australia, Bangladesh, Africa...
In response to market demand, Long Son Company Limited continues to operate 3 packaging factories in Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, and Long An provinces. Long Son has also put into operation Long Son Bai Ngoc General Port and Long Son Cement Grinding Station in Nghi Son Economic Zone. Located in a favorable geographical location near seaports and inland waterway ports, convenient transportation for transporting goods to all provinces and cities as well as exporting to international markets, ensuring products reach consumers quickly and stably.
“Green” production, sustainable development, right from the planning of the factory construction, Long Son decided to choose the most advanced machinery and equipment in the world for cement production. This allows Long Son Cement Factory to effectively handle and control environmental issues. During the operation, many solutions have been proposed such as: investing in a system to recover excess heat to generate electricity; arranging a system of trees and regulating lakes around the factory; installing modern equipment to minimize dust and smoke, performing technical work to limit noise; wastewater is collected and treated through an automatic filtration system... contributing to reducing the greenhouse effect and thoroughly handling factors that impact the environment.
Accompanying the development of the community, as a multi-industry, multi-field enterprise with a system of factories, branches, and representative offices nationwide, Long Son is creating regular jobs and stable income for more than 3,000 officers, employees, and workers in many localities across the country. The company always actively cares for improving the material and spiritual life of workers, from working conditions and environment, to improving professional qualifications, salary increases, rewards, medical examination and treatment, vacations, sightseeing tours, social insurance, and health insurance.
