Previously, at 3:00 p.m. on November 23, the patrol control team of the South Saigon Traffic Police Team, including Major Phan Minh Chau and Captain Dinh Quoc Dat, was on duty on Nguyen Van Linh Street, Tan Phong Ward, District 7 when they discovered a child about 8 years old walking along the corrugated iron wall of the Nguyen Van Linh tunnel construction area.

Seeing the child showing unusual signs, the working group approached, took the child out of the dangerous area, and asked for information about the child's family.
