The Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province has just issued document No. 869 announcing the admission scores for grade 10 in the 2024-2025 school year.
In particular, for the non-specialized system, Viet Tri High School has the highest preliminary standard score with 22.2 points; Minh Hoa High School has the lowest preliminary standard score with 11.25 points.

Regarding the preliminary admission scores to Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, the highest admission score is for Chemistry with 44.4 points; the lowest admission score is for Information Technology with 34.05 points.
The Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province requires the Admissions Councils of each unit to publicly announce the admission scores for grade 10 in the 2024-2025 school year of each school. High schools coordinate with secondary schools with students applying to promptly inform students and parents about submitting application documents; clearly announce the time, location for collecting documents, and phone numbers for students and parents to know and contact.
Accordingly, high schools will collect applications from students who have registered for admission and have enough points to be admitted to the unit from July 1 to July 5, 2024 (applications are made according to Instruction No. 11/HD-SGDĐT dated January 31, 2024 of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province).
In addition, organize an Admissions Council meeting to check application documents; confirm the admitted students and print the list of admitted students from the admissions management software of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province; complete the documents and submit them to the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province for approval.

For the 2024-2025 school year entrance exam for grade 10, Phu Tho province has 36 examination councils, 43 examination sites with 948 examination rooms. The total number of candidates registered for the exam is 22,324, an increase of over 7,000 candidates compared to last year.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province, students are not allowed to change their wishes after receiving the results of the 10th grade entrance exam, meaning students are not allowed to transfer schools after being admitted to 10th grade.
The Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province as well as high schools do not accept applications nor process requests to change wishes. High schools only accept applications from candidates on their list of admitted candidates to grade 10.
Previously, on June 15, Phu Tho province announced the 10th grade exam scores. According to statistics from the Quality Management Department - Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province, in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year, the whole province had 30 scores of 10 in the two subjects of Math and English, 1 score of 10 lower than last year.
On June 23, the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province announced the results of the re-examination of the entrance exam for grade 10 of the 2024-2025 school year. Accordingly, the whole province has 291 requests for re-examination of 355 general subject exams (87 Literature exams, 120 Math exams, 148 English exams) and 97 exams in specialized subjects (10 Math exams, 20 Literature exams, 11 English exams, 2 Physics exams, 2 Chemistry exams, 10 Biology exams, 10 Math exams - Specialized IT exams, 5 History exams, 18 Geography exams, 9 English exams - Specialized French exams).
The review results determined that the whole province had 10 general subject exams with changed scores (8 English exams; 2 Math exams; no Literature exams had changed scores), and 97 specialized subject exams had unchanged scores after the review.
