Vo Minh Dien is a YouTuber and often livestreams to sell products. While using social media, Dien had a conflict with Ha Kim Ngan's YouTuber group in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province.
Knowing Dien and Kim Ngan's couple, on February 17, Lam Duy Bao Son (Son "ghost face", also a YouTuber) called Dien, saying he wanted to come to the house to reconcile the conflict.
Vo Minh Dien agreed and made an appointment with Son at an address on Binh Thanh Street, Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City.

On the same day, February 17, Son and two other people went to meet Dien to reconcile but failed. Because, while talking about reconciliation, Ngan was in front of Dien's house live broadcasting badmouthing this YouTuber.
Son continued to ask Dien to come to a restaurant on Quach Dieu Street, Vinh Loc A Commune, Binh Chanh District to talk. After that, Dien and Bach Hoa (unknown background) showed up and waited until 12:30 the same day but Son did not show up.
Dien went online to watch Kim Ngan's YouTube channel and saw Son's group and her live streaming, cursing, slandering, and threatening to chop off Dien's legs.
Dien was angry, also went online to curse Son and challenged him to come to his house to fight to resolve the conflict.
On the evening of February 17, while Dien was live streaming to sell goods, Son called to say he had arrived at the entrance of alley 257 Binh Thanh, Binh Hung Hoa B ward.
At this time, Bach Hoa was standing there, walking with about 4 people (unknown origin). Dien carried a 3-section hoe and asked someone in Bach Hoa's group to carry it to the alley entrance.
When Dien arrived at the entrance of alley 257 Binh Thanh, he saw a group of about 5-6 people beating someone. Dien thought that the group was beating Son so he shouted loudly, but when he looked back, the young man was not Son. Son had run away and it was unclear where.
The incident injured two people, Mr. NTT and TCT. The group also smashed NTT's car. While the group was smashing the car, Dien came out and walked around the car with a stick, but the authorities could not determine whether the car was smashed or not.
