There has never been a Vietnamese music program like Anh trai say hi, holding 4 concerts in 2 cities and almost filling the stands every night. The number of audiences attending the concerts is still chaotic and unclear, but the fact that Anh trai say hi held 4 concerts in a short time shows that Anh trai say hi has brought in a not small amount of revenue for the organizer.
Revenue of concert "Anh trai say hi" in Hanoi?
Both concerts took place at My Dinh National Stadium on December 7 and 9, respectively, with 12 ticket classes with ticket prices ranging from 500,000 VND to 10 million VND. Of which, CAT, GA and Fanzone tickets are standing areas with the highest price of 2.5 million VND. The remaining ticket classes (except Premier Lounge) are seats. Over the past few days, the production team and those involved in the program have hinted at different numbers when it comes to the number of concertgoers. Previously, in a meeting in Hanoi, the program's producer representative confirmed that the two concerts were expected to attract more than 100,000 spectators. Tran Thanh said that according to his personal understanding, "the show sold the highest number of tickets" or the music event had a record number of spectators in Vietnam.
During the concert on the evening of December 7, Song Luan revealed that the number of spectators attending was 50,000. This is also the number that Isaac and MC Duc Bao mentioned in their social media posts but were quickly deleted.

Previously, Black Pink's concert at My Dinh Stadium in July 2023 attracted more than 33,000 people per night. A media expert in the field of event organization calculated with Tri Thuc - Znews, the number of seats in the stands at My Dinh Stadium minus 1/4 of the corner of the field will have about 29,000 people and the occupancy rate is about 70%, equivalent to 20,000 people. On the field, there can be about 13,000 more people. From there, the number of people is about 33,000 per night.
According to the reporter's observations over the two concert nights that just took place, the occupancy rate of Say Hi Brother is quite similar to Black Pink. Therefore, the number of audiences coming to each concert night of Say Hi Brother is predicted to be around 25,000 to 30,000 spectators, or even higher. The reason is that Say Hi Brother has a much higher number of standing areas than Black Pink. At the same location, Black Pink's concert only arranged one standing area in the entire stadium. On the contrary, Say Hi Brother's crew used the entire stadium to sell standing tickets. Therefore, only counting the entire stadium, not including the stands above, it is very likely that Say Hi Brother 's audience will be higher than BlackPink.
As for the 2 concerts that took place in Ho Chi Minh City, the expert also pointed out that the scale of the Anh trai say hi event was quite similar to the My Dinh Stadium. However, because the Black Pink concert also had an additional audience on 2 floors plus a corner of the grandstand. Therefore, the expert said that the Anh trai say hi concert in Ho Chi Minh City could be 16,000-17,000 or the highest would be around 20,000-22,000 spectators.
Returning to Black Pink's 2 concerts in July 2023 at My Dinh Stadium, Touring Data statistics show that the YG Entertainment girls earned more than 13 million USD (more than 333 billion VND) in revenue with a ticket sales rate of 100%.
The concert has a scale and audience size quite similar to Black Pink's and can be used as a reference when estimating the revenue that the producer of Say Hi Anh Trai earned after 2 concerts.
"The Goose That Lays the Golden Eggs"
However, in reality, it is difficult to apply the calculation formula of Black Pink's concert to Anh trai say hi even though the scale and audience may not be too different.
The reason is that the change in ticket prices or sponsorship has led to a huge difference in revenue. Not to mention, Black Pink always earns huge profits by selling various items right at the stadium, such as shirts, hats, light sticks, etc. The average ticket price of Black Pink is also much higher than that of Anh trai say hi . Black Pink's two concerts are divided into 8 different ticket categories with prices ranging from 1.2 million VND to 9.8 million VND. The average price for 5 ticket categories is 5.3 million VND. Meanwhile, the average price of 12 Anh trai say hi ticket categories is 2.3 million VND.
When asked about the revenue of Anh Trai Say Hi concert on the 3rd day in Hanoi, a stage director and producer based on his experience in many music shows that sold tickets predicted a figure of 25-30 billion VND from ticket sales alone, not including sponsorship money, if the show had about 20,000 spectators. Meanwhile, another media expert said that it was very difficult to calculate a specific number when all the data about Anh Trai Say Hi was too vague.
Experts explained that the number of audiences in each area has not been announced yet. If we just calculate simply with an average price of 1.5 million to 2 million VND and an audience of 30,000 people, the revenue of the concert Anh trai “say hi” falls to 60-100 billion VND per night.
In all 4 concerts, the Say Hi Brother crew made the audience fall into a “maze” of numbers. After 2 concerts in Ho Chi Minh City, the producer announced the number of audiences was up to 78,000. This number has been controversial for a long time.

At the first concert, on the official website, the biggest sponsor for Say Hi Brother announced that there were 15,000 live viewers. But also at that concert, MC Tran Thanh said the audience was 20,000. However, in Do Phu Qui's post, this brother shared that the audience was up to 30,000. At the second concert taking place on the evening of October 19, still in Ho Chi Minh City, Erik shared before the event: "Countdown to the day of meeting 25,000 viewers". That is, the audience that this brother gave was 25,000.
At the two concerts in Hanoi, numbers like 50,000 or 100,000 continued to be given as a “smokescreen” for the audience, making it impossible for them to distinguish between what was real and what was fake. Also because of the chaos and lack of transparency in the data, it is very difficult to calculate the revenue of the concerts.
However, according to a media expert speaking to Tri Thuc – Znews, the Anh trai say hi concert is definitely the mainstay of the production unit’s revenue. That’s why they organized 4 concerts in a row, even on Monday nights, which is unprecedented in the Vietnamese music market.
