From public investment capital, Con Cuong is implementing projects such as: Project to upgrade and expand the route from National Highway 7 to Khe Kem waterfall tourist area (19km long, total construction estimate of 120 billion VND, currently the bridge and other works on the route have been completed, the remaining road is about 400m); Thanh Nam bridge project connecting the town with the left bank of Lam river, with a total investment of nearly 166 billion VND. Currently, the bridge and road on the left bank have been completed. The road at the beginning of the bridge on the Con Cuong town side is stuck with 38 small traders who have not relocated. The district is propagating and mobilizing for relocation, trying to have the site ready before April 30, 2024 and striving to open the bridge...
Mr. Nguyen Huu Thinh - Director of the Con Cuong District Construction Investment Project Management Board said: Thanh Nam Bridge project connects the right bank and the left bank of Lam River in Con Cuong District. When the project is completed, the transportation and trade of agricultural and forestry products and materials between the two regions will be very convenient, contributing to the socio-economic development of the whole Con Cuong District.
Similarly, the project to upgrade and expand the route from National Highway 7 to Khe Kem waterfall tourist area, when completed, will expand the route, creating favorable conditions for tourists and local people in transportation and agricultural and forestry production.
