The Vietnam Technology and Innovation Connection event will take place on September 29-30 in Quang Ninh, attracting hundreds of businesses to showcase their technology products.
With the theme "Innovation - Sustainable Development", the event Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2023 is a bridge to promote investment cooperation, applied research, technology development and innovation. This is an annual event organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, with VnExpress Newspaper as the official media unit. This year, the program is coordinated with the People's Committee of Quang Ninh and many participating units.
Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2023 is expected to attract hundreds of domestic and international enterprises, technology corporations, research institutes, and universities to demonstrate new technologies and connect for investment and research cooperation. The event is expected to gather 10,000 people from central ministries, departments, branches, Departments of Industry and Trade, Departments of Science and Technology nationwide; representatives of organizations, corporations, and business associations in Vietnam and internationally; representatives of intermediary organizations of the science and technology market; organizations and individuals interested in participating.

The program is designed with many activities, including forums and conferences to exchange information on the topic of connecting technology and innovation.
In parallel, 3 main activities took place throughout 2 days including: demonstration, introduction of equipment and technology; technology focus - new technology trends; consulting and connecting technology supply - demand.
Enterprises, science and technology organizations, research institutes and universities participating in the program will have the opportunity to demonstrate and introduce equipment and technology at 200 - 250 booths with 8 functional zones. Including: sponsored enterprise zone; high-tech enterprise zone; artificial intelligence technology zone; institute zone; intermediary organizations of the science and technology market; localities; foreign technology enterprise zone with transfer needs; enterprise zone; Quang Ninh province cooperatives; enterprise zone with typical technology innovation activities and science and technology enterprise zone.
The product display technology demonstration booths are designed to be impressive, innovative, and bear the mark of each unit to facilitate product introduction and promotion.
Participating in Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2023, businesses, experts, and institutes will discuss major technology issues through technology spotlight activities, coordinated by the chair of the parallel sessions during the day. Topics covered in these activities include: new materials, green energy, logistics and supply chains, health sciences (agriculture and medicine), and information technology.
In the technology supply-demand consulting and connection activities, organizations and businesses have the opportunity to meet, exchange and provide in-depth advice on policies, technology solutions and technological innovation, intellectual property, and quality measurement standards for businesses in need. Here, businesses can also access capital from funds, science and technology programs, and connect finance and technology to support innovative businesses to help develop product value chains. The two sides of supply and demand can also agree to sign technology transfer contracts and technology-based investment cooperation. The form of 1:1 business connection is through direct connection tables at the event or online. The activity is expected to have 3-5 sessions, each session includes 10-20 connections.
Held since 2011, Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam aims to build a national innovation system to convert and apply knowledge and technology into practice; create a direct bridge for technology supply and demand sides to exchange, discuss and sign cooperation agreements and technology transfer contracts. The event has become a forum for businesses and experts to discuss and share information with policy makers, promote technology application, transfer and product commercialization.
