With skillful and meticulous hands, Ms. Le Nu Ngoc Trinh (women's association member of Quarter 6, Ward 4, District 3, HCMC) has created delicious and beautiful cakes. Moreover, each cake is also placed with a heart of kindness with the thought "A cake given to the hand - helping the needy".
Le Nu Ngoc Trinh’s family has a tradition of running a restaurant. However, she herself chose baking to pursue her passion since she was a child.
Since the age of 18, Ms. Trinh started making cakes to sell online and donated a portion of the profits to help people in difficult circumstances. Gradually, the model "A cake in hand - helping the needy" was born. At first, only relatives and friends bought her cakes. But then "good news spread far and wide", the cakes were delicious, cheap, suitable, the model was meaningful, so one person introduced it to another, more and more people knew about her online cake shop.
Ms. Trinh shared: "I have had a passion for baking since I was a child and want the cakes I make to be beautiful and have their own unique characteristics. I hope that when people receive the cakes, they will not only enjoy the delicious taste but also feel happy and joyful when holding and enjoying the cake. The baking assistants also inspire positive emotions every time they participate in baking. There, everyone will be comfortable and put their heart into each cake, not too much chasing after quantity.
I make cakes and sell them online, but luckily I have a lot of support from everyone. I make cakes in the morning and deliver them in the afternoon. In addition, I also take on setting up tea parties, making wedding cakes, family parties... My main business is making cakes and donating 20% to a fund to help those in difficult circumstances."
