Wolves secured a 1-0 victory against Sheffield and climbed to eighth place in the Premier League table. The Wolves now have 38 points and are just one point behind Brighton, who are above them in the standings.
This development also pushed Chelsea down to the bottom half of the Premier League table. The Blues are currently 11th with 35 points, but still have one game in hand against Tottenham due to their participation in the League Cup final.

In the title race, Liverpool lead with 60 points, one point ahead of second-placed Man City. Arsenal are in third place with 58 points. Aston Villa hold the top four position with 52 points, six points ahead of Tottenham and nine points ahead of Manchester United.
