In the first quarter of 2025, the Can Tho City Cooperative Union coordinated with associations, unions and localities to do a good job of consulting and mobilizing the establishment of 6 new cooperatives, including 4 agricultural cooperatives and 2 transport cooperatives... Along with that, the City Cooperative Union also organized 6 classes to provide information, advice and disseminate legal regulations to 6 groups of cooperative founders in the fields of agriculture and transport before establishing cooperatives; at the same time, directly consulted and supported 99 cooperatives to carry out procedures for registering seals, adding business lines, extending digital signatures, reporting tax settlement, requesting exemption from business license fees...

Along with consulting and mobilizing new establishment, Can Tho City Cooperative Union also coordinates with city departments, branches and sectors to support cooperatives to participate in the "Trade Union Tet Market" Program in 2025; support cooperatives to participate in the "Trade promotion fair for collective economic sector, cooperatives in 2025" in Bac Lieu province... Thereby, it has promptly helped cooperatives grasp consumer needs and connect to consumer markets.

In April 2025, Can Tho City Cooperative Alliance focused on implementing a number of activities in response to the "Action Month for Cooperatives 2025" of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; continued to carry out propaganda and advocacy activities for collective economic development in 2025; supported cooperatives in need of capital loans for production and business to access the Central Cooperative Development Support Fund and preferential loan programs of banks; supported cooperatives to cooperate with enterprises to effectively perform services of providing input materials and purchasing output products for cooperative members...
