The Military Medical Department (General Department of Logistics) - Standing Agency of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control (PCD) of the Ministry of National Defense has just issued an official dispatch to agencies and units throughout the army regarding Covid-19 PCD work.
Accordingly, on May 5, 2023, the World Health Organization announced that the Covid-19 pandemic is no longer a public health emergency of global concern, but the epidemic is not over yet.
Although the Covid-19 epidemic in the Army is being well controlled; the coverage rate of the 3rd and 4th doses of the vaccine is higher than that of the community; the number of cases in units only have mild symptoms, the treatment time is short, and it is difficult to develop into clusters of cases or large outbreaks, the Military Medical Department recommends that Party committees, commanders, officers and soldiers of agencies and units not be subjective in the face of the epidemic; requests that all levels in the entire army continue to maintain the activities of the PCD steering committee; inform, propagate and educate on appropriate, flexible, effective and sustainable PCD measures; review and supplement the PCD plans of agencies, units and human resources, equipment, chemicals and consumables; have plans to admit and treat patients at all levels, ready to deploy when the epidemic situation becomes complicated.

Do not be subjective with Covid-19 and other emerging infectious diseases
The Ministry of Health has just warned that the upcoming New Year, Lunar New Year and festival season will cause high demand for tourism and trade, along with unusual seasonal changes, creating favorable conditions for infectious diseases to spread, possibly increasing the number of cases, especially in children with weak resistance and the elderly with underlying medical conditions.
Don't be subjective with Covid-19 epidemic
At an information meeting organized by the Ministry of Health on the afternoon of June 27, Professor, Dr. Phan Trong Lan, Director of the Department of Preventive Medicine (Ministry of Health) said that the World Health Organization (WHO) assessed that the world is still in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic; at the same time, it warned that new strains of the virus are making the epidemic more complicated and increasing again.
