Musician Giang Son shared that he had chosen from the "heritage" of more than 100 songs by Phu Quang to include in the program the songs that create lyrical, romantic, luxurious, beautiful, and typical Hanoi qualities.

“We chose the theme of Love Remains . It is love for people, love for couples, love for Hanoi. The songs are all arranged in a fresh way to create emotions for both the singers and the audience,” musician Giang Son shared.

Talking about choosing the participating singers, Giang Son said he wanted the audience to enjoy a more diverse range of Phu Quang's music through the voices.

"People's Artist Tan Minh has made a name for himself singing Phu Quang's music. But with Khanh Linh or Ho Quynh Huong, those who have never or rarely sung Phu Quang's music will also have different 'feelings' and creativity, bringing diversity to the way he expresses his music," Giang Son shared.

As a new singer when singing Phu Quang's music, singer Khanh Linh expressed: "My voice is light and airy, in Phu Quang's music there is also lightness and elation, not always the tearing, suffering, writhing... as people often hear. I cannot deny the success of my predecessors when performing Phu Quang's songs, I have a different perspective and feeling about his music, there are whispers, gentle, deep".

The two Phu Quang music nights are part of the Hanoi - Touching the Memory program series, a gift not only for the people of the capital but also an opportunity for visitors to better understand a Hanoi with historical nostalgia, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

Accordingly, at the Music Garden of the Hanoi Opera House, the Organizing Committee will recreate the space of Hanoi during the subsidy period through street scenes, clanging trams, and household appliances that are no longer seen in contemporary life...

The program will officially begin on October 5 and last until October 31. The entrance tickets to experience the program's series of activities will be modeled after the subsidy period's ration stamps.

According to Mr. Chu Anh Hung, the Organizing Committee hopes that each visitor will "touch" the ancient memories with the present existence through the creative and dedicated arrangements of the team with a burning love for Hanoi.
