Tay Ninh Bus Station: Telecommunication cables entangled

Recently, in front of the entrance and exit of Tay Ninh bus station (Ward 2, Tay Ninh city), there are many telecommunication cables stretched across. These cables are of inappropriate height, causing many buses to get stuck when entering and exiting the bus station.

The bus got entangled in the fiber optic cable when leaving the station.

According to the reporter, on the morning of April 9, in front of the exit gate of the bus station, there were some broken telecommunication cables hanging in the middle of the path. Local people had to use items such as nylon bags and plastic bottles of purified water to hang on these cables to warn traffic participants of the danger.

Above, many other cables, although bundled, were still clearly bent. Some sleeper buses, when leaving the station, got caught in this bundle of cables, causing the entire system of cables and electric wires to shake. The two electric poles at the two ends of this cable section tended to lean towards each other. If a vehicle strongly impacted this cable system, it would cause the risk of the entire system of electric wires and poles in the area collapsing.

The fiber optic cable was broken, affecting passersby.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Head of the Business Department of Tay Ninh Passenger Station Transport Joint Stock Company, said that many optical cables of network operators have been low at the exit and entrance gates of the bus station for the past 4-5 years. There is a lot of traffic in and out of the station, especially high sleeper buses, when entering and exiting the station, they rub against these cables, causing the cables of the network operators to break. At the same time, the optical cables cause serious damage to the roof of the vehicle.

In addition, there are many cases where passengers entering and exiting the station by motorbike or scooter do not see the broken optical cables hanging to the ground, causing traffic accidents.

Mr. Tuan added that every time the fiber optic cable is broken, the bus station security guards and people tie it up. When the network operator comes to repair it, they reconnect the cable and leave it as it is, without raising the height of the fiber optic cable bundle. Faced with the above situation, the representative of Tay Ninh bus station requested that telecommunications network units with fiber optic cables across the bus station take effective measures to ensure safety for vehicles entering and leaving the station.

“The bus station has made many requests by calling the network operators directly. The telecommunications units sent staff here to survey, but no unit took responsibility for their fiber optic cables. Therefore, they finished checking and then left,” said Mr. Tuan.

Many telecommunication cables dangling in front of the gate of Tay Ninh Bus Station pose a potential safety risk to vehicles entering and exiting the station.

In reality, the situation of many telecommunication cables hanging in front of the gate of Tay Ninh Bus Station not only poses a potential safety risk to vehicles entering and leaving the station but also causes loss of urban aesthetics. Local authorities and relevant functional units need to promptly overcome the above situation to ensure the safety of people and vehicles in the Tay Ninh Bus Station area.

The sleeper bus got caught in a bundle of cables when it left the station, causing the entire system of cables and wires to vibrate.

Telecommunication cables hanging in front of the gate of Tay Ninh bus station spoil the urban beauty.
