Tay Ninh youth enthusiastically participate in activities to celebrate April 30

In the jubilant and exciting atmosphere of the historic April days, on the morning of April 13, at the Tay Ninh Youth Learning and Activity Center, Tay Ninh youth enthusiastically participated in a series of 5 weeks of peak emulation activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) with many meaningful projects, tasks and activities.

In particular, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Youth Union Council coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to organize the final round of the History Competition "A Country Full of Joy" with the gathering of 27 best candidates from more than 50,000 candidates in the online preliminary round.

The contest consists of 3 groups: Group A is for excellent candidates from 100% of junior high school unions; Group B is for excellent candidates from 100% of high school unions, vocational education centers - continuing education centers; and Group C is for excellent candidates from 100% of college and intermediate school unions.

Candidates participate in the Tien ve Sai Gon contest - look at the picture and guess the word.

The contest took place in an exciting atmosphere with 3 rounds of competition recreating the historic battle on April 30, 1975: Following the footsteps of the soldiers, Marching to Saigon, Celebrating the day of total victory. The contests took place in the form of multiple choice questions, looking at pictures and guessing words about historical events, heroic martyrs who contributed to the battle on April 30, 1975, presenting a talent show about an event, an emotional story about the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign.

With careful preparation and confidence, the contestants used diverse and rich forms such as dramatization, art, storytelling, explaining historical battles... making the competition more exciting, receiving much encouragement and response from the audience.

At the same time, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union organized the Competition of Excellent Star Leaders - Good Children's Stars with the participation of 9 excellent teams from 9 districts, towns and cities in the province. This is an annual playground for team members and children of primary school.

At the contest, the contestants held a star activity session with the team members with the following contents: a fun week-end activity with the theme "Vietnamese children celebrate the reunification of the country". In it, the children cleverly incorporated propaganda messages about the glorious historical battle of April 30, 1975 and the children's duties in studying, training, and striving to become good children, good students, and good grandchildren of Uncle Ho.

After a period of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the contestants with excellent performances. In particular, the first prizes in 3 categories in the History Competition "A Country Full of Joy" respectively belonged to Le Nguyen Thuy Trang, class 8A5, Tran Hung Dao Secondary School, Tay Ninh City (group A); Dang Huynh Bao Chau, class 12A2, Nguyen Hue High School (group B); Vo Van Toan, student of Tay Ninh Medical College (group C).

The First Prize of the Contest for Good Star Leaders and Good Children belongs to the Primary School Union of Hamlet 5, Bau Don Commune, Go Dau District.

Mr. Ly Thanh Binh - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training awarded the First Prize of the Contest of Good Star in charge - Good Children Star to the Union of Primary School Hamlet 5, Bau Don Commune, Go Dau District.

Ms. Trinh Thi Nhu Trang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council awarded the First Prize to the contestants of group B of the History Learning Contest "A Country Full of Joy".

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union awarded the First Prize of the "Kim Dong Bookcase" design contest to the Youth Union of Hamlet 5 Primary School, Bau Don Commune, Go Dau District and 9 Encouragement Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, 2 Second Prizes to the Youth Unions with impressive designs. The contest was launched from March 18, 2025 to celebrate the 13th Party Congress and the 2025 Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Provincial Youth Union Council presented 10 bookcases to border teams, and presented libraries and playgrounds for children and team members in the province.

The series of activities has created a vibrant and healthy competition playground, contributing to enriching historical and cultural knowledge for young team members and children. Thereby promoting propaganda and education of revolutionary traditions for young people; arousing pride and determination to compete in studying and training; promoting the spirit of solidarity and creativity in the activities of the Team at the grassroots level.
