Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau affirmed that the year of Giap Thin 2024 has just passed in a context of many advantages, difficulties and challenges intertwined, but with the great efforts and determination in leadership, direction and implementation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee, the drastic participation of the entire political system, the support of the business community and the people, Hai Duong has completed and achieved many important milestones in socio-economic development.

In 2024, the province's economic scale will continue to rank 11th nationwide; annual growth will reach 10.2%, ranking 6th out of 63 provinces and cities, up 7 places compared to 2023. Budget revenue will exceed VND 30,000 billion for the first time (reaching VND 30,774 billion). The disbursement rate of public investment capital will exceed 20% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister.

2025 is a year of special importance. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau emphasized that in order to complete the tasks according to plan, the cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the two agencies need to uphold the spirit of initiative, take the lead as examples, focus on implementing the tasks right from the first days and months with the spirit of "only discussing work, not backtracking; working during the day is not enough, working at night; when there is no work, not when there is no time", determined to build a professional, modern, honest public service, serving the people and a team of cadres and civil servants with the spirit of initiative, creativity, professionalism, responsibility, respect for honor, and aspiration to contribute to the development of Hai Duong.
