To resolve the situation, Barca circumvented the law by selling the new Nou Camp VIP stands to an Arab partner. The deal was worth nearly 100 million euros. Barca said that this was the amount of money that would help them balance their income and expenses, ensuring the requirements of the organizing committee.

La Liga did not agree with this plan, leading to a protracted lawsuit between the parties. Barca took the case to the Spanish Higher Sports Council (CSD). And the final result was that this agency agreed with Barca, allowing Dani Olmo and Pau Victor to play until the end of the 2024/25 season. In a recent announcement, the CSD said that Barca's registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor is still valid.

With just over a month left in the season, it is safe to say that Dani Olmo and Pau Victor will be able to play the rest of the 2024/25 campaign. Both players are former Barca players, and in their reunion with the club, they are playing an important role, especially Olmo. He has 7 goals and 6 assists in 18 La Liga matches this season, contributing greatly to Barca's lead in the rankings.
