Tra Vinh Newspaper organizes conference for civil servants and workers in 2025

Comrade Tran Van Phuong, Editor-in-Chief of Tra Vinh Newspaper, delivered the opening speech at the conference.

In 2024, Tra Vinh Newspaper Agency always received attention, facilitation and timely direction from the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Central Propaganda Department, Ministry of Information and Communications; timely propaganda orientation from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Department of Information and Communications; coordination with departments, branches, socio-political organizations, and localities in implementing the signing of coordination in propaganda according to each topic and theme.

Comrade Son Hung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tra Vinh Newspaper, spoke at the conference.

During the year, Tra Vinh Newspaper in Vietnamese script published 155 issues (154 regular issues, 01 issue of the Giap Thin 2024 Spring issue), implementing thematic content to ensure compliance with the requirements and propaganda orientation of the Editorial Board with about 1,250 reporters going to the grassroots, producing nearly 8,000 news, articles and photos.

Tra Vinh Khmer newspaper published 104 issues (103 regular issues, 01 issue of Chol Chnam Thmay) with about 554 reporters going to the base, producing more than 1,250 news, articles and photos, including nearly 450 news, articles and photos on in-depth propaganda of the Khmer ethnic minority region.

Comrade Vo Thi Hong Phuong, Head of Party Building - Internal Affairs - Readers Department, spoke about newspaper distribution at the conference.

Tra Vinh Online Newspaper updates information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, attracting a large number of readers. In 2024, it published more than 7,640 news, articles, photos, audio, and videos, with nearly 90 million visits. Tra Vinh Vietnamese printed newspaper was suddenly published in 14,505 copies; published in specialized pages and sections in 41,168 copies.

In 2024, the activities of the trade union always receive the attention and close direction of the Party Cell Executive Committee and the Editorial Board; close coordination with organizations in the agency. The Trade Union Executive Committee operates with a spirit of responsibility, solidarity, striving to build the trade union organization and build the unit increasingly stronger.

The Executive Committee members are enthusiastic, energetic, and highly united in directing all union activities. They well implement the information reporting system with the Party Committee, Editorial Board, and superior Union.

The Union has well implemented the coordination regulations with the agency's leaders. Every quarter, the Editorial Board holds regular meetings with the Executive Board of the grassroots Union, promptly assessing the achieved results as well as proposing directions and solutions to overcome limitations in the following quarter. Advise the Editorial Board to promptly carry out the work of caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members, cadres, civil servants and workers at the agency on holidays and Tet.

Comrade Ho Ba Thi, Chairman of Tra Vinh Newspaper's Trade Union, presented a certificate of merit to the collective that successfully implemented the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" model in 2024.

Coordinate with the Editorial Board to implement the emulation plan and launch the registration for emulation titles among all civil servants and employees right from the beginning of the year. Thereby, 100% of civil servants and employees registered for emulation titles, and at the same time implemented regular emulation activities associated with emulation by topic, such as: Studying and following the ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh, "Skilled in mass mobilization", publishing newspapers, "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring safety and hygiene at work", "Good at public work, good at housework", building an agency that meets cultural standards in the period 2023 - 2027...

Comrade Ho Ba Thi, Chairman of Tra Vinh Newspaper's Trade Union, approved the conference resolution.

The conference unanimously approved the conference resolution with the following main targets and tasks: 100% of officials, employees, and union members study, thoroughly understand, and well implement the Party's policies, resolutions, and regulations; the State's legal policies, resolutions, and regulations of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; and internal rules, working regulations, programs, and work plans set forth by the agency.

No civil servant, employee, or union member who violates the Party's policies, resolutions, and regulations; the State's laws and policies, the Resolutions and Charter of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; internal rules and regulations, work programs and plans of the agency, and social evils shall be disciplined by the Party, State, or socio-political organization from the form of reprimand or warning or higher.

Implement well the code of conduct, regulations on ethical standards and lifestyles of party members and officials of the agency; regulations on professional ethics of Vietnamese journalists; rules on the use of social networks by journalists; implement well the criteria of cultural press agencies and the culture of journalists. Achieve 100% of the unit's emulation plan for 2025; continue to improve the quality of content and form of Tra Vinh Newspaper (printed newspaper, electronic newspaper).

Strive for 100% of officials and employees to complete their tasks, of which 90% of officials and employees will achieve the title of "Advanced Laborer"...

Comrade Tran Van Phuong, Editor-in-Chief of Tra Vinh Newspaper delivered a concluding speech at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Tran Van Phuong requested the agency's cadres, civil servants and employees to well implement the 9 emulation targets of the Trade Union and the 12 targets of the Party Cell's 2025 resolution. Along with that, the agency's cadres, civil servants and employees strive to compete to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term and the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) along with a number of other key tasks of the industry.

Comrade Tran Van Phuong, Editor-in-Chief of Tra Vinh Newspaper, awarded the title "Provincial Emulation Fighter" to an individual.

On this occasion, 02 individuals were awarded the title of "Provincial Emulation Fighter" for their outstanding achievements in the work from 2021 - 2023. Tra Vinh Newspaper Agency rewarded 01 collective and 05 individuals for their good performance in newspaper distribution mobilization; 03 collectives and 10 individuals for their good performance in the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" model; 05 collectives and 15 individuals for their good performance in the "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" model in 2024.

Awarding the title of "Advanced Laborer" to 05 collectives and 30 individuals; the title of "Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level" to 09 individuals; Tra Vinh Newspaper's grassroots trade union awarded certificates of merit to 12 union members with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong trade union organization in 2024.
