The narrow-body A320 aircraft with registration number JU-1410 has just landed at Noi Bai International Airport, becoming the latest aircraft to join the Bamboo Airways fleet ahead of the year-end peak season.
Bamboo Airways General Director Luong Hoai Nam said that for nearly a year, the airline has been continuously searching and negotiating with aircraft leasing units around the world to receive more aircraft in the context of the world aviation industry's shortage of aircraft supply.
"The airline is actively working with partners and is expected to receive new aircraft before the new year of the Snake, responding to the call for additional transport forces and increased capacity on international and domestic routes by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam," Mr. Nam shared.
New aircraft joins Bamboo Airways fleet.
Mr. Nam also affirmed that there is still a long way to go for the airline to reach its goal of restoring its fleet to 30 aircraft. However, the airline has been taking steady steps to realize that goal. The most immediate goal is to operate 18 aircraft by the end of 2025, if market conditions are favorable.
Based on the additional aircraft, Bamboo Airways continues to increase frequency and resume regular domestic and international flights.
With the addition of the fleet, Bamboo Airways is actively increasing the exploitation of domestic and international routes to serve the year-end peak season.
Specifically, Bamboo Airways has resumed the Ho Chi Minh City - Da Lat route from October 27 with a frequency of 1 round trip/day; officially returned to Phu Quoc with the Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc route from December 24 and operated 1 round trip/day.
At the same time, the airline also restarted its international regular flight network with the Ho Chi Minh City - Bangkok route re-opening from November 26 with 1 round trip per day.
At the same time, to meet the increasing travel demand during the peak period at the end of the year and Lunar New Year, Bamboo Airways has opened early sales of flight tickets for the Lunar New Year 2025 on all of the airline's official distribution channels including website, mobile application, ticket offices and agents nationwide.
Specifically, from January 15, 2025 to February 12, 2025 (ie from December 16 to January 15), Bamboo Airways will open for sale hundreds of thousands of seats on all domestic and international routes with prices starting from only VND 627,000/way (including taxes and fees).
