These days, the preparation atmosphere for the Au Lau Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is taking place urgently with a high sense of responsibility, promising a successful congress, opening a new development stage for the locality. Each road is cleaned and decorated, banners and slogans are colorful, reflecting the sense of responsibility and great expectations of local cadres, party members and people for the upcoming congress.
Currently, Au Lau Commune Party Committee has 281 party members operating in 13 affiliated party cells. Looking back at the 2020 - 2025 term, the locality has achieved many important achievements. The economy has grown strongly with an estimated per capita income of 62 million VND in 2025, an increase of 16% compared to 2020.
The trade and service sector has developed rapidly and the total retail sales of goods in 2025 are estimated to reach 1,050 billion VND, exceeding 105% of the target of the Resolution of the Congress for the term 2020 - 2025. All 8 villages of the commune have met the standards of a model new rural area, the urban appearance is increasingly spacious and modern, laying a solid foundation for Au Lau to become a ward by 2030.
Identifying the Commune Party Congress as an important political event, the Standing Committee of the Au Lau Commune Party Committee closely directed the development of plans and implementation of tasks in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo. The preparation of documents, personnel, propaganda and logistics was carried out methodically, ensuring the right progress.
Up to now, the Document Subcommittee has completed the 6th draft of the Political Report and the Review Report of the Party Executive Committee of the commune for the 2020-2025 term. These documents have been consulted for comments from former commune leaders, Party cell secretaries and approved by the Party Executive Committee for further completion. Personnel work has been implemented closely, ensuring democracy, transparency and following procedures. The Party Committee of the commune has organized a vote of confidence for re-elected and first-time participating personnel to ensure that the staff has the qualities and capacity to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new period.
In addition, the organization of congresses of subordinate Party cells was carried out carefully and in accordance with regulations. The Party Committee selected Dong Dinh village Party cell as the model congress on January 7; the remaining Party cells completed their congresses before January 13.
Through evaluation, all Party cell congresses were held solemnly and democratically, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and innovation. All Party cells have summarized the good and bad aspects; at the same time, determined the goals, directions and solutions for leadership and direction in the new term. Not only focusing on organizing the Congress, Au Lau commune also implemented many welcoming projects, typically the multi-purpose cultural house of Thanh Giang village and the sports campus of Doan Ket village. These projects not only have the meaning of welcoming the Congress, but also contribute to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people.

This is an opportunity for the entire Party Committee to look back on the past, draw lessons and determine the direction and tasks for the coming period, striving to soon turn Au Lau into a ward by 2030.
