The contract fee is not only meant to improve the lives of the players. More importantly, it is also a historic push towards the professionalization of women's football in particular and Vietnamese football in general. This clause is common in men's football but is very new to female players.

Mr. Do Vinh Quang - Vice President of T&T Group said: " These contracts will create a boost for training. Young players see their future in such contracts. That is what women's football needs to create fundamental, long-term development. When female players can make a living from their profession and, even better, get rich from football, we believe that many families will not object to their children pursuing a football career ."
