The Vietnam Boxing Federation has just decided to confer the rank of Grandmaster and Level 1 athlete on boxers who achieved high results at the 2023 National Boxing Championship for Strong Teams taking place in Dak Lak in April 2023.

The 7 martial artists who were awarded level 1 include: Tran Thi Ha Van (bronze medal, 52 kg weight class, age group 17-18), Tran Thi Kieu (bronze medal, 54 kg weight class, age group 17-18), Tran Thi Mai Nha (bronze medal, 57 kg weight class, age group 17-18), Van Tan Viet (bronze medal, 71 kg weight class, age group 17-18), Nguyen Chau Kieu Chi (bronze medal, 50 kg weight class, age group 19-40), Ha Van Quynh (60 kg weight class, age group 19-40) and Le Huu Duc (92 kg weight class, age group 19-40).
In high-performance sports, the highest level is the master athlete, followed by level 1 and level 2 athletes. This is a noble title that any athlete in any sport strives to achieve.
