The 2024 Copa America will take place in the US from June 20 to July 14 with 16 participating teams, while the 2024 European EURO tournament (from June 14 to July 14) will also take place in Germany with 24 teams in the final round.
Copa America 2024 takes place in the United States
Copa America 2024 is similar to the case of Copa America Centenario held in 2016, also hosted by the United States and expanded to 16 teams. Of which, 6 teams from the CONCACAF region (North, Central America and the Caribbean) and 10 teams from South America (CONMBEOL) compete.
Ten teams from South America, including Argentina with superstar Messi, the defending champions, are certain to be present, along with Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Meanwhile, the six CONCACAF teams participating in Copa America 2024 will have to go through the qualifying round. There are currently eight teams in this region: the US team (despite being the host, still competing in the qualifying round), Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Panama, Trinidad & Tobago, Honduras and Jamaica.
These teams will compete in the quarter-finals of the CONCACAF Nations League this November. The winners of the four quarter-final matches will qualify for the 2024 Copa America, while the four losers will be paired up to compete in two play-off matches for the remaining two spots.

According to journalist Gaston Edul of TyC Sports (Argentina), the Copa America 2024 draw will take place in Miami (USA) on December 7. The 16 participating teams are divided into 4 groups of 4 teams each, with the top 2 teams in each group entering the knockout round, starting from the quarter-finals.
