With this support money, households will use it to buy food, groceries, school supplies, and other necessary household items.
The project “Emergency Relief for Households Affected by Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi) in 2024” implemented by WVI focuses on the most severely damaged households and vulnerable households including poor and disadvantaged households, households with disabled children, and children in special circumstances to support affected households in a timely manner.
In addition to emergency interventions in the form of multi-purpose cash transfers, WVI will also conduct other support such as distribution of hygiene kits, water tanks, minor repairs to water facilities and schools, training and communication on water and sanitation, safety protection policies and management of safety protection policy violations.
