Vietcombank to launch online sale of SJC gold bars from June 12

Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) has just issued a notice on online gold bar sales. Accordingly, in order to solve the situation of customers having to queue at Vietcombank's SJC gold bar sales points, from June 12, 2024, Vietcombank has deployed the utility of Registering to buy SJC gold bars online for customers right on the bank's website.

Customers can register to buy SJC gold bars at the desired location and receive an appointment confirmation with information about the location, payment time and delivery of SJC gold bars without having to come directly to queue and get a transaction number.

According to Vietcombank, customers use personal electronic devices (smartphones, tablets, personal computers...) to register to buy SJC gold bars.

Customers do not waste time waiting in line to get a number; Vietcombank uses the Registration information to conduct SJC gold bar sales transactions at the counter, thus saving time collecting information.

Vietcombank keeps confidential all information entered by customers on the Online SJC Gold Bar Purchase Registration utility and only uses this information for SJC gold bar purchase transactions when customers come to Vietcombank's SJC gold bar sales points.

Vietcombank also noted that from June 12, 2024, the bank will only provide SJC gold bar sales services to customers who have registered to buy SJC gold bars online on the bank's website.

Customers register to buy SJC gold bars online from 9am - 4pm. Payment and delivery of gold at Vietcombank's SJC gold bar sales point from 1:30pm - 4pm.

After registering to buy SJC gold bars online, customers need to go to the transaction location according to the address and time frame in the Appointment Confirmation. In case, the customer does not come to the transaction more than 30 minutes after the appointment time, Vietcombank will cancel the Appointment Confirmation to serve the next customer.

Gold price is the price listed by Vietcombank at the time of payment and delivery of gold bars at Vietcombank locations.

Steps to register to buy SJC gold bars online

Step 1 : Visit Vietcombank's official website and select "Register online" right on the home screen.

Step 2 : Log in with personal information according to the instructions on the screen.

Step 3: Select the service "Register to buy SJC gold bars"

Step 4: Choose location, time frame for payment and delivery of SJC gold bars, and desired amount of gold to order.

Step 5: Check and confirm information.

Step 6: Receive service registration results with “Confirm appointment” .
