Many travel businesses believe that the return of Chinese tourists to Vietnam is a very good sign for the tourism industry at this time when other key markets are facing difficulties due to the economic crisis.

The director of a travel agency said: “ We expect that around the beginning of May, new groups of Chinese tourists will come to Vietnam. However, since the news that the Chinese government has opened its doors to Vietnamese tourism, many Chinese businesses have contacted us to request quotes for Vietnamese tours. During this period, we are actively inviting partners to survey and give feedback so that we can offer products that are suitable for the current travel trends of Chinese tourists .”

This director further analyzed that with the favorable location and natural conditions, and the cost of travel or spending for a 5-6 day Vietnam tour itinerary will not be too high, so it is very likely that Chinese tourists will come to Vietnam sooner than expected.
