Speaking at a recent reception for the Minister of Inspection of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Hout Hak, and the delegation of the Ministry of Inspection of the Kingdom of Cambodia, who are visiting Vietnam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam attaches importance to developing good neighborly relations, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability with Cambodia.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the importance of maintaining and developing good neighborly relations with Cambodia. He said that Vietnam always attaches importance to the traditional friendship and comprehensive, sustainable cooperation with Cambodia, not only in the field of inspection but also in many other fields such as economy, culture and society. The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of cooperation in improving the effectiveness of inspection work, fighting corruption and ensuring transparency in state management, which not only helps the two countries develop but also contributes to creating a stable environment in the region. The Prime Minister suggested that the two sides effectively promote existing agreements and cooperation mechanisms; continue to promote the connection of the two economies, together towards the goal of soon reaching 20 billion USD in bilateral trade. Together with Laos, we will constantly consolidate, strengthen and promote solidarity and cooperation among the three countries of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia. The Prime Minister hopes that the Cambodian side will continue to pay attention to and remove difficulties for people of Vietnamese origin in Cambodia, create favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises investing and doing business in Cambodia; firmly adhere to the principle of not allowing hostile forces to use the territory of one country to harm the security and interests of the other; strive to resolve the demarcation of the remaining 16% of the border, building a border of peace, friendship, cooperation and sustainable development between the two countries. The Prime Minister said that Vietnam always appreciates the cooperation, support and assistance of Cambodia in the past struggle for national liberation and reunification as well as in the current cause of national construction and development; affirming Vietnam's consistent policy of attaching importance to developing good neighborly relations, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability with Cambodia. The Prime Minister said that the Vietnamese Government is always interested in and ready to create all conditions for the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam to organize training courses and exchange professional skills with Cambodian inspection officials, while creating favorable conditions for inspection agencies of twin provinces and cities to strengthen and develop cooperative relations, exchange professional experience and implementation practices.../.Thanh Tung
