Recently, KES has officially launched a completely new line of melamine products in the Vietnamese market, meeting US standards. The most prominent is the wood board that meets the Carb P2/EPA moisture resistance and emission level, ensuring safety for consumers' health. (The maximum formaldehyde emission concentration in the board does not exceed 0.11 mg/m3 or 0.11 ppm). Sharing about this, a representative of KES Group said: Carb P2/EPA moisture-resistant melamine board in Vietnam is inevitable when Vietnamese consumers are increasingly wise in choosing products to protect the health of themselves and their families.

It is known that this new product line of KES was born from the urge to bring US standard products to domestic consumers. This is also the first time in Vietnam that there is a Melamine product with Carb P2/EPA emission level and outstanding moisture resistance. For industrial wood, formaldehyde is an ingredient in glue, created by the chemical reaction of urea and some chemicals to bond wood fibers and increase the hardness of industrial wood panels. Formaldehyde is proven to be safe for health, but if it exceeds the threshold, it is a harmful substance. Therefore, in demanding markets such as the US and Europe, formaldehyde emission level is the top priority criterion. Up to now, Carb P2/EPA emission level is still the standard and measure of the highest safety for health, products that meet this standard will not cause eye irritation or allergic problems.
Next, we must mention the "eternal concern" of consumers of wood products, which is moisture resistance, especially for tropical countries like Vietnam. The newly launched Melamine product of KES possesses outstanding moisture resistance with a moisture resistance for 17mm boards of only less than 8% according to BSEN 317 standards, and can be safely used in areas with high usage density, or humid areas while still ensuring product longevity and durability.
