Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee requests to thoroughly handle the case of the female principal who was repeatedly "accused" of wrongdoing.

On the afternoon of January 13, at the regular press conference of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Education and Training responded to press reports about the school being "accused" of teaching extra classes during regular school hours and a number of other violations.

In October 2024, Mr. NVĐ. (teacher of Cao Ba Quat High School) submitted a petition reflecting on a number of management issues of the principal. After receiving the petition, on December 9, 2024, the Director of the Department of Education and Training issued a decision to inspect and verify. The case is currently being verified, so when the results are available, the Department of Education and Training will report to the Provincial People's Committee and inform the press.

After receiving a complaint, the televisions at Cao Ba Quat High School were transported out of the school.

At the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha, Standing Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, said that today the press agencies did not agree with the Department of Education and Training's handling of the matter. Ms. Hue had committed violations at Chu Van An High School, and now that she has gone to a new school, she has filed a petition, giving society a bad impression.

Therefore, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha asked Mr. Luu Tien Quang to report to the Party Secretary and the Department Director about the direction of the Provincial People's Committee to be resolute, determined, and to completely handle the case and respond to the press.

"Teachers must be role models, but if the principal lets this or that happen, he is no longer a role model, he becomes a "dirty mirror" - Mr. Ha emphasized.

As reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, in November 2024, 1 teacher and 1 parent at Cao Ba Quat High School sent a petition to the press agency and the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province to reflect on the shortcomings at this school.

In the petition, this teacher reported 7 issues related to extra teaching, extra learning, cutting down a series of trees, and illegal fees... Notably, at the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year, the school allowed students to take time off from physical education and national defense education to attend extra classes at the school for a fee.

Regarding Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Hue, after being transferred to become Principal of Cao Ba Quat High School, a teacher from the old school continued to file a complaint about Ms. Hue's violations.

In January 2024, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province announced the results of verifying this teacher's petition, showing that Ms. Hue had committed many violations in financial and material management, and single-handedly decided many important matters of the school.

It was not until November 2024 that the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province issued a decision to establish an inspection team to inspect the management and use of state budget; management and use of public assets at Chu Van An High School, and there are currently no results.

Previously, from 2020 to 2023, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province repeatedly established inspection teams to inspect and point out a series of violations at Chu Van An High School during the time Ms. Hue was principal.
