DTO - On the morning of February 10, at the Provincial Party Committee hall, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee held a conference on personnel work. Attending the conference were comrades: Ho Thuy Hien - Deputy Head of Department III of the Central Organization Committee; Duong Hoang Anh Tuan - Deputy Head of Department VIII of the Central Inspection Committee; Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Central Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and comrades of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, and members of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee.

At the conference, comrade Tran Van Cuong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board announced the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work. Accordingly, the Central Party Secretariat decided to allow comrade Pham Thien Nghia - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee to retire early from February 15, 2025.

Receiving the decision, comrade Pham Thien Nghia thanked the Central Party Secretariat, Party and State leaders, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee for their attention and creating favorable conditions for him to fulfill the assigned tasks throughout his work.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the Provincial Party Committee respectfully acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts, attempts and contributions of comrade Pham Thien Nghia throughout his working process. Especially in the process of participating in the leadership and management of the province, effectively contributing to the socio-economic development of the province in the past time. Having held many positions, comrade Pham Thien Nghia has always been responsible, closely following the grassroots and the areas in charge, promptly listening and removing difficulties for the people. In the role of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, comrade Pham Thien Nghia has always maintained the sense of responsibility of a leader, creating solidarity in the unit, and striving to complete the assigned tasks.
Comrade Pham Thien Nghia asked to retire early to create favorable conditions for the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee to reorganize and streamline the apparatus in accordance with Resolution No. 18 of the 12th Party Central Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently". The Provincial Party Committee Secretary sent his best wishes for good health and hoped that after his retirement, Comrade Pham Thien Nghia would continue to pay attention to the common work of the province, share experiences, contribute opinions and ideas so that the Provincial Party Committee can perform its tasks well, and actively contribute to the development of the locality.
