On the evening of August 20, the Robotacon WRO 2023 World Robot Competition in Vietnam awarded the final prizes at Phenikaa University, Hanoi. Attending the award ceremony were representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Embassy of Denmark, and public and private schools in Hanoi and neighboring provinces and cities.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Troels Jakobsen, Commercial Counselor, Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam shared: “Through 2 qualifying rounds, I believe that all of our students have gone through very challenging but very interesting days of competition because they have shown their full potential. The competition is always a useful and interesting playground for students to express themselves, develop skills to apply what they have learned in school to life”.

In Vietnam, the Robotacon WRO 2023 competition attracted more than 1,200 contestants from 330 primary, secondary, high schools and centers in 18 provinces and cities nationwide. This year's competition not only increased rapidly in quantity but also significantly improved the quality of the competing teams, helping to create balanced performances. With the theme "Connecting The World", the competition brought many practical social topics, stimulating students' creative exploration to contribute solutions to connect people, trade and information. The topics focused on a series of issues that are of global concern such as: Conservation of coral and marine life, repair of submarine cable systems, repair of offshore solar panels, automation, etc.

Team HSRL - B3 01 won the championship of Group 3 - ROBO MISSION - SENIOR.
The contestants competed at the multi-purpose gymnasium of Phenikaa University (Hanoi) to win the prestigious trophy and the right to represent Vietnam in the world finals. The award ceremony selected 14 teams (champion, first, second, third) to have the honor of advancing to the world round in the Republic of Panama this coming November.
