– On the afternoon of May 12, the Standing Committee of Trang Dinh District Party Committee held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW, dated November 4, 2013 of the 11th Party Central Committee on “Fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the conditions of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration” (Resolution No. 29).
Over the past 10 years, under the leadership of Party committees and authorities at all levels, the effective coordination of departments, branches, organizations and the care of the people, the education sector of Trang Dinh district has carried out emulation movements well and achieved positive results, meeting the requirements of general education innovation according to Resolution No. 29. Up to now, the whole district has 20 kindergartens with 153 classes, mobilizing 3,653 students; primary school has 26 schools with 242 classes, 5,156 students; secondary school has 26 schools with 144 classes, 3,742 students; high school has 3 schools with 47 classes, 1,768 students. From 2016 to present, the district has met the standard of universal primary education level 3; in 2022, the district will meet the standard of universal secondary education level 2.
Collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the District People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in implementing Resolution No. 29 for the period 2013 - 2023.
Infrastructure has been gradually invested in and built in a solid and modern direction. The work of building schools that meet national standards has always been given attention and direction. Up to now, the whole district has 25 schools that meet national standards, accounting for 40% (an increase of 14 schools, an increase of 23.6% compared to 2013).
The teaching staff has a high sense of responsibility, enthusiasm, and love for the profession. Up to now, 100% of the management staff and teachers in the district have intermediate or higher qualifications. The quality of education has many positive changes. The teaching of foreign languages and information technology is standardized, practical, and ensures the ability of learners to use it synchronously from grade 1 onwards. Education work associated with scientific research, guiding students in scientific research has been effectively implemented, resulting in 72 projects winning provincial prizes; 1 project winning an encouragement prize at the "Youth and Children's Creativity" contest organized by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations...
In addition, the district's education and training work still has limitations such as: A few commune-level authorities have not led and directed closely; dissemination and propaganda have not been regular, extensive, and effective; coordination has not been close; the role of the Fatherland Front, unions, associations, and communities has not been properly promoted; awareness of a number of managers and teachers about the purpose and content of the Resolution is not profound; they have not been proactive and active in implementing tasks and solutions to meet the requirements of innovation.
At the conference, delegates discussed a number of issues related to the implementation of Resolution No. 29 in their units in the past time, as well as proposed and recommended a number of issues in the implementation of Resolution No. 29 in the coming time.
Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the district continues to pay attention to organizing the implementation of Resolution No. 29; strengthening the leadership of the Party, the management of the State, the role of the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, mobilizing the participation of social organizations and people in developing education and training in a sustainable direction; building a team of teachers and educational managers to meet the requirements of comprehensive fundamental innovation in education and training; continuing to review and arrange the network of schools and classes at all levels reasonably, ensuring the improvement of education quality, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development and human resource training of the locality; Promoting socialization, strengthening facilities to ensure the quality of educational activities.
On this occasion, 16 collectives and 20 individuals received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the District People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in implementing Resolution No. 29 for the period 2013 - 2023.
